1. Join the league
Create a Zombie Darts player account and submit the information requested by League Control. This normally includes the details needed to identify you, contact you and place you into a suitable competition.
2. Get placed into a division
Zombie Darts uses ability-guided divisions. Registered averages, current form and the available player pool can all help League Control build competitive groups. The published average bands are guidance rather than an automatic guarantee of placement.
3. Check your fixtures
Once the season is live, members can view their league fixtures after signing in. Zombie Darts uses flexible arranged fixtures, so opponents contact each other and agree a suitable time rather than every match being tied to one fixed weekly league night.
4. Play the match online
Matches are scored in DartCounter. Both players should have a stable setup before starting: the dartboard should be clearly visible, the throwing area should be adequately lit and the camera should be positioned so the opponent can follow the match. A phone, tablet or computer can be used depending on the player's setup.
5. Publish the official result
Zombie Darts is the league record. League Control records or approves the official match result and the website then updates the relevant table, statistics and player history according to the competition rules.
6. Follow the table and statistics
During the campaign, members can follow standings, results, averages, 180s and checkout statistics. Statistics are kept within the relevant league/division so a player competing in more than one competition can see the correct performance for each.
7. Reach the knockouts
At the end of the league stage, qualifying positions can feed into one or more knockout competitions. A season may use a main Championship plus Plate, Shield or additional tiers, with each bracket able to use its own race-to format and handicap configuration.
8. Build a permanent playing history
Completed campaigns contribute to the player's Zombie Darts history. This gives the league more continuity than a one-off online match: seasons, positions, knockout runs and performance records form an ongoing competitive profile.
